Review | Garnier's Soft Essential Cleansing Wipes

Before I started trying to build a proper skin care routine, I never really used cleansers or toners. To be honest, I never really used anything on my skin, even moisturiser was a rarity. I know, the shock and horror of it all! It just wasn't really a concern of mine. I would get home from work and the last thing I would want to do would be to spend an hour of my time rubbing things into my face, despite how relaxing a lot of other people say that it is.

Because I always wanted to go for the quick and easy option, face wipes were a must for me. I couldn't tell you how many packs of different face wipes I have managed to work my way through and, trust me, I'm pretty certain I've had most of them at one point or another. I didn't really have any favourites, and they all seemed to do about the same thing. However, that was until a family member of mine recommended the Garnier Cleansing Wipes with rose extract. Like I said, with wipes, I had never really had any favourites.. at least, that was until these.
Since I first started using these, I haven't gone back to any other brand. I found that these wipes are really soft on the skin and didn't leave that horrible dry sensation after using them. They smell amazing and the rose extract really comes through, which just makes it a bit more enjoyable whilst removing your make-up. Now, like I said, I've used a lot of face wipes but none even compare when it comes to actually getting rid of all of your make-up. Even waterproof mascara is no match for these bad boys! And one wipe goes a long way, so those twenty-five wipes last a heck of a long time.

I would definitely say that, since I have started cleansing, toning and moisturising, my skin does feel a lot better and a lot healthier than it ever has and I don't think I would go back to just using face wipes. However, these are definitely my go-to wipes if I have had an extremely long day or if I get home late from a night out and really just want to take my face off (not literally, of course!) and go to sleep.

The Garnier Soft Essential Cleansing Wipes with rose extract are mainly for people with dry skin, however, I have combination skin and these still worked really well for me. I wouldn't recommend them for people with oily skin as they may make your skin overly-moisturised (if that's the right phrasing), but for combination and dry skin, I really wouldn't look anywhere else.

Check out the link here if you are interested in purchasing them. Also, if you want some more information on the product or you want to see what products might suit your skin type, check out Garnier's fantastic website here, where they have lots of really useful information about all of their products.

Thanks for reading, and if you have any face wipes you can recommend or any opinions about these wipes, feel free to leave a comment in the box below!

    1. I would say that they should be okay for sensitive skin. I don't get that horrible red-ness that I do with other wipes from these. Plus, my aunt has really quite sensitive skin and she uses them with no hassle. Definitely worth a try!

And thanks for checking out my blog! Really appreciate it! (: x
